Just a quick note to wish everyone a merry Christmas… I hope you’re having a wonderful day, and all that stuff.
Toney and I didn’t get to bed until 1:30 this morning, a-finalizing and whatnot, and the Secrets were swinging for the fences four short hours later. So, my brain is thoroughly fried-up. Right now I’m animated by coffee, and nothing else.
One of the gifts we gave the younglings is an old-fashioned looking turntable. They’re intrigued by my album collection, and now have something on which to play those strange and exotic discs from a distant era.
So, we had the interesting experience of sitting around the tree on Christmas morning, while being serenaded by AC/DC’s “She’s Got Balls.” Happy holidays!
The older boy also scored a Paul McCartney-style violin bass, and the younger Secret got a drum kit. The drums are still boxed-up, but soon the house will be filled with “music.”
My gifts included Season 3 of Deadwood, and two more years of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I also got some clothes, and cold hard cash from my parents. No gadgetry this go-’round, because I’m all gadgeted-up. Unfortunately.
What are your gift highlights for Christmas 2008? Did Santa J. McClaus bring you everything you wanted? Tell us about it in the comments.
Oh, and this is now playing in the bunker. Somebody must’ve given it to me as a gift years ago, because it’s strongly associated with Christmas in my mind. It just wouldn’t be the holidays without Rock of the Westies; it MUST be played. Do you have a CD like that?
Have a great day, my friends. I’ll see ya soon.
Scared of Santa!
Sorry to say Jason, but I think you’ve made a bad investment. The Asian markets have been slipping lately and with all the bail-outs being passed around, I look for the American fake vagina market to make a strong comback. We will compete in the global community again as well as here at home.
I’ve been a connoisseur and collector of fake vaginas for years now. My first fake vagina was purchased from an antique shop in 1995. It’s constructed of burlap and badger hair, and the tunnel is made smooth with beef tallow. It was hand made by the late great Russian immigrant, Ucango Wackov. Many told me that it was worhless. But I sold it for a handsome profit last year.
And these Asian ones I have are exquisite in design and features. I think I mentioned once before that they take your temperature and play a song when they’re, uh, entered.
“It’s a small world after all,
It’s a small world after all…..
You’re current temperature is 99 degrees. Hot boy.”
I gotta go. Talk to yall later.
Just now getting around to posting….
Christmas was good, and now I’m glad it’s over. Too much family bonding for the single gal.
Got a scanner/printer/copeir combo, a fancy new vacuum (requested item), some gift cards, and of course socks. We always get socks in our stocking…even in our 30’s….we go to dads, he stuffs our stockings with travel lotion and gum and ink pens and socks.
