In this episode of the podcast I tell you about the cheap gas they were selling at Sheetz on the 4th of the July and the calamity it caused, the changes I made to the Surf Report website, and two day-trips I took last week:
- To Philly to see one of my favorite bands, The Eels
- To Baltimore for a Reds vs Orioles game, my first trip to Camden Yards
Both were great, but one didn’t go exactly as planned. By a longshot.
I hope you enjoy it, thanks for listening!
A few photos from the excursions:

Hi Jeff!
I think the site looks great! I have one question though; how come your archives only go back to 2008? I recall visiting your page and being hooked as early as 2001. Between ’01 and ’08, you had some really fantastic posts. Holy crap, I just realized I’ve been a reader for over two damn decades!
I often tell friends “don’t do the math”. I should listen to myself more often.
Pass the beer nuts,

I saw your comment and thought, Oh shit, it’s not gone, is it??
Lotta gold in there!
I keep looking for a blog entry and end up at a podcast and my audio is broken. I thing I made a full circle through an offer to email me a link to a podcast, an invitation to listen to a podcast via Facebook and a request to enclose four dollars a month. Is there still a blog out here somewhere? I thought I found an entry about Cannon, but the next entry seems to be a podcast. I’m old, so most likely I’m confused and have fallen into some kind of podcast labyrinth. Can somebody help me find Jeff’s blog?
Thanks, from the bottom of my sloggy heart.
