That’s right, aristocratic; you’ll feel like the freaking King of England in this thing.

$12 Miscommunication Shirts!

One of the T-Shirt Lady’s “helpers” (an elf? I’m unclear) recently made an error, and produced 60 maroon shirts with the wrong design. He was supposed to be printing the retro Smoking Fish logo, but ran the Evil Twin “leapin’ catfish” instead. The result? A bizarre color combination: maroon with orange and white. When I was told about this in a phone conversation, I groaned. It sounded fairly hideous. But she said they weren’t bad, surprisingly enough, and offered to let me have them for a deep discount. I told her I’d take a look, but was skeptical, highly skeptical. Here it is:

To tell you the truth, I kinda like it. Not something I’d special order, mind you, but it’s not as horrible as I’d feared. So, I’m going to offer them for twelve bucks each — postage included. I recently asked the Evil Twin to recommend new colors for his soon-to-be-famous Smoking Fish t-shirt design, and he came back with this great blue/gray combination that is simply kick-ass. Our best shirt ever? I think so!

Yay! I’ve been waiting for this ever since I accedentally bleached the green one I gave to my husband! Not bleached as in put in a wash of whites with bleach, bleached as in I put bleach in the machine and it all ran onto the floor where the shirt was and was soaked up…it turned an odd half-tie-die green and off-white. I was very sad.

SO now my husband will have a brand shiny new one! (btw, I would buy one for myself if you had the “ladies” sizes, or even a polo with the design in the corner)
