As such, they needed a back-up charge (mail fraud) so that they could keep fucking with him. I suppose there's a lesson there somewhere. Once the Feds decide they want a piece of your ass, they won't let up until they get you. That being said, this will never survive the scrutiny of the U.S. court system.
